In January 1610, Galileo first observed the moons of Jupiter with his diminutive refracting telescope. Four hundred years on, Peak2Valley Instruments announce the introduction of two new achromatic refractors :
The STARSPLITTER - a bespoke, 6 inch aperture long focus telescope tailored to suit the specific requirements of the discerning observer who prefers the high resolution and contrast to be found in an unobstructed instrument, without the damaging effects of a secondary obstruction.
The client may select the source and focal length of the Fraunhofer design doublet, make and style of focusser, choice of tube fittings and colour finish.
The CLASSIC - a traditionally designed refractor, with brass cell, focusser and fittings and typically white or black finish.
No two Peak2Valley refractors are identical.
